Two blunt Army spouses trying to navigate the military world, keep the kids alive, and remember where all the uniform pieces are. We try to design our episodes around like- minded men and women “spousing” like ourselves in the military community.

Share an experience that has shaped who you are today.

My husband and I were married for several years and had all three children before he enlisted. The Army was a necessary choice we have been living for nearly 10 years. My co- star married a seasoned soldier, and is now experiencing the military fresh with only a couple of years under her belt. We still learn from each other, and from others. No matter the amount of time as military, policies change, numbers change, and we will always have new information to learn.

We will respond to questions and concerns from our listeners. Our email and socials are closely watched. We discuss the embarrassing as well as the proud moments in our life. The title “Hot Mess Mil Mom” rings true. We are honest about not being perfect. I feel as though our listeners truly feel that we are genuine.

What makes your podcast unique?

We are not nuns. We discuss all the things not meant for the dinner table…… except politics! Parenting, insurance, screenshots we find funny, animals, marriage ups and downs, divorce, sex, education, etc.
