You’re Pretty Also: Jim Hoiland & Jennifer Couch Talk Friendship, Fun & Life’s In-Betweens
Our podcast is deemed as nothing, everything and the in betweens (our favorite parts!). Think of it as being at brunch with your friends and all of the random things you talk about there. Jim and Jenn are 15 year best friends who are a little bitter but overall look at life from a humorous lense. They are relatable, they are your besties sitting across the table from you. The people who listen just want an escape from life for 35 minutes twice a week. They want to be a part of those random conversations, laugh and feel heard about whatever the world is throwing their way!
This podcast is such a huge experience in our lives. We entered this year with the intention of saying “yes” and here we are. We ideated this one random Friday night and by that next Thursday we were recording and building our social media presence. We are incredibly proud of the work we’ve done and the community we’ve already built. With over 500 downloads in the first 3 weeks after launch, over 10,000 social media hits across platforms and nearly 100 subscribers. We have built a community already and we are just getting started!
Our audience are a fierce group of “pretties” who love to laugh with us and be salty with us. They expect to hear Jim and Jenn’s anecdotes about whatever life is throwing our way with a bit of humor and a bit of salt. They come back because of the community. We lift each other up, make each other laugh, and help each other feel ok about not being ok with everything in life and the world!
Our podcast is unique because it really is about the ordinary and the extraordinary. We discuss things from all over the world, all walks of life. Things you would never expect to hear about or things you hear about every day.
