Introduce yourself.

Grow My Podcast Show was created by the CEO & co-founder of Capsho – the fastest way to market and grow a podcast.

It was created for podcasting entrepreneurs – coaches, consultants and service providers – who created their own podcast in order to find and amplify their message, build their audience and ultimately their income.

When I was working in Corporate, I was passed over for a promotion I thought I was a shoo-in for.

Share an experience that has shaped who you are today.

When I was working in Corporate, I was passed over for a promotion I thought I was a shoo-in for. When I asked a senior leader about why I didn’t get it, he turned to me and asked this question: “why do you even want this promotion?”.

At the time, it didn’t make sense to me… Everyone want a promotion. That always the next step, the achievement we strive for in our careers.

The more I thought about it, the more I realized that what he was actually asking me was whether pursuing a corporate career was what I wanted to (or should) be doing.

I’ve always been entrepreneurial at heart and it was this difficult discussion that finally gave me the permission and kick in the booty to pursue the path I was always meant to be on.

Tell us about your podcast audience.

Our audience sit at the intersection of entrepreneurs and podcasters. They already have a business that they are trying to grow and understand that marketing a podcast (let alone a business) is no easy feat.

Each action we take is an experiment where we are testing, learning and tweaking – constantly! They expect tangible and actionable insights told through transparent stories, based on what I and my guests have actually implemented and what we have seen work.

They come back to get more ideas and importantly, to stay up-to-date with what we are seeing working and what is not.

What makes your podcast unique?

We discuss our own journey growing our podcast, our community and our list. I also speak to other industry experts that can teach my audience of podcasting entrepreneurs.

Topics include how to use social media (or if you even need to), how to pitch to other podcasts, how to build a community around your podcast, how to use YouTube, the podcast funnel, content dripping and content honey traps (as examples).
