Inspire to Run Podcast

Inspire to Run Podcast inspires others to run who want to take control of their health & fitness.
Richard Conner, podcast host, is a marketer, entrepreneur, and runner.
Richard has run numerous 5Ks and now has moved into the world of half marathons and obstacle course races.

Inspire to Run Podcast is for someone who is looking to make a change in their life after a doctor diagnosis, job related stress, or moving into their next phase after kids or divorce.
The podcast is interview style and share journeys from runners, tips from fitness experts, and background stories of races for charity and non-profits.
Back in 2018, I started my own personal journey to face my fears and doing things I had never done (or thought I could do). I ran my first Spartan obstacle course race that year which was a scary and humbling experience.
From there, I hired an OCR coach and share my fitness story with friends and co-workers. I came back in 2019, conquered some of my fears, greatly improved in the Spartan races, and met my fitness goals.
When I shared with others, they were genuinely happy for me but didn’t have the confidence that they could do what I was doing.
That is why I started the podcast to help others realize that they can do these things if they are looking to make a change in their lives.

The audience is comprised of those who are not runners today or are beginners. They will expect to hear an inspiring story about how my guests have either started or restarted their journey and how running had made a positive impact on their life (physically and mentally).
Weaved in each conversation is advice and tips aligned with the three pillars (mindset, movement, motivation) that will help them in their personal journey.
Inspire to Run Podcast is unique because we are mostly interviewing everyday runners vs professional athletes to be relatable for someone who doesn’t run today or is a novice runner.
The podcast also takes listeners through my framework of Mindset, Movement, and Motivation which is based on dozens of interviews and helps someone believe they can make a change, gives them the tools to make the change, and keeps them moving even if they want to quit.
