Let me say it like this excuses are where you trade your truth for temporary comfort and the problem with comfort is it’s never made anybody a legend! You see most folks don’t fail because they tried and lost. They fail because they never started. They never picked up the phone. They never blocked out the time. And they never face themselves in the mirror. And I get it excuses. Feel good in the moment. They wrap around you like a warm blanket on a cold morning. But eventually they become the chains that keep you from where you want to be.
